40 YEARS???  You gotta be kidding!!!  My life has certainly been blessed all these years and I hope it's been the same for you.  I've been married to a great guy for 33 years and we have 3 kids and 5 grandkids.  We have an excavation business on Lopez Island and we also spend time at our ranch in Tonasket.
Turns out I can't make it to the reunion after all.  So sorry to miss seeing everyone!  Have a wonderful time.  Many thanks to those who put this event together.  See you at our 50th???

From Rick:

The following is a synopsis of the post Glacier era.

Did not see Vietnam, school and work deferments took care of that. Married a 1970 Mt. Rainer girl in 1971, we are coming up on our 37th anniversary this August. Built my first house in 1976, which was going to be the first of many, funny thing the house became a home and we still reside there. We traveled extensively from 1977 through 1981. We had twins in August of 1982. Aaron is a 2006 Washington State University grad in Sports Management and is starting his second year as Athletic Director/Activities Coordinator at Kent Meridian High School. Amanda is a 2006 Western Washington University grad in Fine Arts – Graphic Design Production and works for a Kent company as a Marketing/Graphic Designer. My wife, Judy, worked as Human Resource Manager, then a stay at home mom for seven years, then part time accountant and now a fulltime accountant. For myself, I love change as it pertains to work and have had the ability to switch careers over the years. I have been able to work on some very interesting domestic and international projects. In May of 2003 I was diagnosis with Stage 4 Cancer and given 6 months by three of the local centers. I choose Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and after a year and half of treatment, along with two surgeries, have been cancer free. My doctor continues to “just knock on wood”, which of course pleases me to no end and keeps me out of the “In Memory…” section. I enjoy my work and have no intentions of retiring any day soon. I do have a very fond spot in my heart and my memories for those kids who made the path from Boulevard Park Elementary through Sunset Jr High and onto Glacier. Although I have commitments elsewhere and will miss the reunion, I hope to run into some of you guys along the way and will not miss our 50th reunion. I hope, with all the digital cameras out there, a series of photos will show up on this website after the reunion. The "then" picture was from the fall of 1968 with my future wife Judy. The "now"picture is from the Spring of 2006 at my daughters WWU graduation in Bellingham.

Kathy and I have been married for 37 years and living in Olympia for 32 years.  Rod Young was our best man.  I have a wonderful daughter, Alysa, and 2 granddaughters, Mira, 7, and Hailey, 5, who think I’m funny.  I like all kinds of music and have season tickets to Seattle Opera, like to hike, read non-fiction, and ride 2 motorcycles – a BMW and a Ducati Monster.  If your power’s out after a storm, be kind to the lineman – it could be me.  I still remember working on the Glacier annual our senior year and the party I had at my house when the parents were gone.  40 years – wow.  If you're in Olympia, give us a call (in phonebook) - we'll make you Margaritas.

After 33 years owning our own sales and marketing firm, we're following our passions. Since I've always been a kid at heart, its been fun making a business out of my love for cycling. It'll be great to catch up with you at the reunion.

From Don:
WOW!! What a great website. Thank You to those responsible. Open this website kick in the music (Sounds of Silence) and  browse through and just try to keep your eyes dry, my challenge to you.
Forty years !! Man!! What a ride it's been, a real adventure, way to much to get into here, better discussed over a few drinks and in the presences of other fellow adventurers, say for example at the 40th class reunion.    I'm really looking forward to seeing  and visting with all my fellow Adventurers that I started this journey with, Can't wait! I'm cutting our Motorcycle trip short so we can be sure to be there.
I guess I should mention a few things like I've been married to the same Beautiful woman for 36 years my wonderful wife Virginia and she's still out of my league (just a lucky guy I guess) and we share 4 children, twin sons Matt and Tim and 2 beautiful daughters Renee and Lisa (they take after their mom) and 11 Grandkids featuring our latest additions TRIPLETS (twin girls and a boy). To say I've been blessed is truly an understatement. The Grandkids are awesome.
Hope to see ya all there !!       Don
P.S. The picture was taken at "Three Tree Point". A favorite place for a lot of us back in the 60's to watch those Great Submarine races.
