My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Rod Young. I went to high school with Rod, and remember his soft manner and sweet smile. I remember that he was always very nice to me, even though we didn't know each other well. I was very glad to see him at our 40th class reunion. I will always think of him with care and respect, the same way he treated me. Sincerely Mary |

| Rod was the outstanding student in Glacier High School's Class of 1968. I was privileged to have been his typing teacher. At the 20th reunion of his class he gave me his business card and invited me to be his guest at his Chicago Hyatt. My elderly mother and I accepted his generous offer and were treated like royalty. He introduced me to his staff as his "typing teacher" and told them that because I had taught him to type so well he had landed a desk job in the military. "You saved my life," he said, smiling his great shy smile. I will never forget Rod Young who launched me so well on the first year of my teaching career. My sincere sympathy to his friends and family and special GHS classmates. | |||

I was very sorry to hear about Rod Young's passing. Rod is a friend i'll never forget. We shared an apartment after high school. Believe me, there were lots of laughs. Rod got me a job at the Hyatt House. I'm fiinding out that he did the same for several people. I am thankful that I have many great memories about Rod. We used to cruise Alki in his 1964 ,4-door ,six-cylinder,yellow ,Ford Falcon, not exactly a chick magnet but Rod didn't care. One of his favorite songs was Lil' Bit of Soul . Everytime it came on the radio he would get this goofy grin on his face and say -lets do the bugaloo- I remember how much he loved and respected his parents and his brothers and sister. I feel privileged to have been called his friend. I will miss him greatly. Farewell my friend |

| Rod was one of the good ones. His brigh smile and easy going way at Glacier helped many to face lifes everyday struggles. His ability to stay committed to his company and life has been used by me in my college and high school teaching of an expample for others to follow. I regret he was not at the last all class as I wanted to share these words with him face to face. Rod, you will be missed. | |||

Hi Rick---sorry, this is so late! If you had Mrs. Hart’s class, it was for 3rd Grade. Miss Yarr-4th grade: do you recall this info: we made an incredible mural that covered the whole back wall of the classroom—ceiling to floor; we painted and drew photos of Cairo, the Pyramids of Egypt, and the Nile River—etc. We also did lots of other art projects. Hope that helps to jar any memories.
And yes, it is really hard without pictures, but from what I have gathered the whole school district only has pictures of first grade classes. 1st Grade: Mrs. Murphy--- Mary Pramuck, Mark Little, Ray Olsen, Ron Musgrave, Ron Brown, Robert Burton, Leslie Taft, Lynn Barker, Sheila McGavern, Lyle Wilson, Mark Sabourin, Marcia Neivus, Steve Anderson, Roger Hudson
2nd Grade: Miss Nelson—Mark Little, Deanna Mathews, Mark Sabourin
3rd Grade: Mrs. Hart-----Mark Little, Rich Horner
4th Grade: Miss Yarr--- Mark Little
5th Grade: Mrs. Dwyer—Mark Little, Danny Boedecker
6th Grade: Mrs. Dorland—Mark Little, Kathy Noon, Steve Wittler, Loretta Wilkerson, Rick Horner, Ron Brown, Bob Burton?? We all went to Camp Waskowitz in October. |

YOU GET TOGETHER ONCE EVERY TEN YEARS AND A PHOTOGRAPHER WAS VOTED DOWN? YOU KNOW I WOULD HAVE PAID FOR THE DAM GUY TO COME AND TAKE THE PICTURES AND I MEAN THAT!!!!! AND I DID NOT COME. NOT SINCE THE TEN YEAR REUNION DID YOU HAVE GREAT PICTURES OF EVERYONE. THERE WAS THREE PAGES OF PITCHERS OF ALL THE PEOPLE THAT YEAR. I’M SAD TO SAY FROM NOW ON IN OUR OLDER AGE WE ARE GOING TO START LOOSING PEOPLE. ANOTHER TEN YEARS YOUR WHAT 68 ? THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN BROUGHT UP, HEY WE ARE NOT 30 OR 40 ANYMORE. I FEEL A GREAT INJUSTICE AND MISSED OPPORTUNITY WAS MISSED WHEN THE HIRED PICTURE PERSON WAS NOT HIRED. I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THIS THINKING. IF SOME ONE CAN GET ME AN ANNUAL MAY BE FROM ANGLE LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WHERE THE ARCHIVES AND EXTRA COPIES ARE KEPT, I WAS TOLD I WILL PAY $ 3OO.OO OR MORE I HAVE TO MAKE IT WORTH SOMEONE’S WHILE. IF THIS IS TRUE AND IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET ONE AT THAT SCHOOL IT WOULD PAY FOR SOMEONE TO TRY. I WILL ALSO PAY FOR A USED ONE WHAT EVER THEY WANT, AND OTHER POSSIBILITY IS TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE MADE FORM ONE OF CORSE I WILL PAY FOR EVERYTHING AND PAY YOU WELL. ALSO I’M LOOKING FOR FOSTER HIGH 1968 ANNUAL SAME RULES APPLY FOR THIS ALSO. I WANTED TO SEE A PICTURE OF ALICE AND HER HUSBAND SINCE I WAS NOT COMING. THERE ARE SPECIAL REASONS WHY I WOULD LIKE HER PICTURE. LETS JUST SAY ALICE WAS MY FIRST REAL GIRLFRIEND ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF. AND THAT IS ALL I WILL SAY. SHE MAY HATE ME I DON’T KNOW, AND I DON’T KNOW WHY BUT SHE WILL ALWAYS BE ON MY MIND FROM TIME TO TIME AND VERY SPECIAL TO ME.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

Various people will be hosting the get-togethers throughout the year, so if you'd like to be included on the invite list, please email your name, address, email or phone number to me or Joann Wittler through this site. Hi fellow classmates, A few of us (Mark's, Dana's, Jolliffe's & Dandurand (Spaun) ) are trying to make dates of get togethers , and would like to open it up to anyone interested. As you can see we have had one, and are planning more. We would like to plan one for early spring, i know that is a ways off, but since it is mainly my wife and Kathy Jolliffe doing it, they don't like to wait until the last minute. If you are interested email me with your address, and we will send you an invite. We will be having it at my home in Bonney Lake, we have a big deck and lots of room for people. We hope to hear from a lot of you, and look forward to renewing of old friendships, and making new ones. Take Care, Steve Wittler |

Hi there all; I really enjoyed our 40th class reunion. It was nice to see so many. I really agree that we should have these every 5 years. I like that it was casual dressy, much more confortable. Sorry I can't make the all school gig on the 27th & 28th of September. I am glad for this web site. It made pre getting reaquainted fun. And helped getting ways to connect after easier. I would really like to see this web site kept up. I know it must be a lot of work, (great big thanx to Linda Buckner Connors, and anyone else that worked it) and it does cost something. I wonder if we could get enough donations to keep it going? I hope you all continue to enjoy life. Keep in touch Mary |

| Forty years? C'mon guys we got forty more to go. Just because your six pack turned into a half rack doesn't mean it's time to spend all day in that rockin chair unless you're like me and you like rockin. Someone asked me recently if I was retarded, I told them heck no, I'm only 58, I'll wait till I'm 65 but I'll work part time. Age is simply a measure of time [are you sure Dave] and if it wasn't for the 90 pounds of love and sensibility I married 30 years ago, my sons, my brother and my brother from another mother John Parker, I would have been dead years ago so I'm feelin pretty lucky right about now. I look forward to seeing all my friends, you know who you are, and thank you for that. Me | |||

Just a short note to let everybody know that I definitely thought our 40th reunion was a success. Everybody appeared to have a good time visiting with their former classmates, and sharing stories about their lives from 1968 until now. I am very glad that we had the turnout that we did and enjoyed seeing all of you there. I sincerely hope that all of you enjoyed "our" reunion as much as Sandie and I did. Thanks again, it was a wonderful evening. I say we do it again in five more years. Let us know your feedback and also please contact any of the current committee members that are listed in the Memory book if you have a change of address, wish to be a part of the reunion committee to help organize our next reunion or even if you know of somebody's address that we were not able to find for this reunion. Thanks to all of the committee members that donated so much of their time. It was all worth it. Thank you! |

The best thing that ever happened to me occurred in 1967 at a dance after a ball game. I was hanging around with the guys and I saw the cutest little "tush" in white knee high socks walk by. I asked her to dance and I have never dated anyone since. Each year that passes I am reminded of the beauty of "time and space". I am forever grateful for being at that space in that particular time. Not just me but our 4 children and now 3 grandchildren. Cow Eyes |
